Transportation Acquisitions in Alabama

Parking Management Company (PMC), a Nashville-based national provider of hospitality-focused and commercial parking services, has acquired Clutch!, a technology-driven parking operator serving stadiums, arenas and major event venues across the United States. The acquisition adds 15 stadium and arena clients, integrates Clutch!'s reservation technology with PMC's operational capabilities, and expands PMC's Stadium Event division and national footprint.

Kenan Advantage Group (KAG) has acquired Mobile, Alabama-based Evergreen Transport, a family-owned dry bulk hauler. The deal brings roughly 100 drivers and 45 operations staff, plus 158 tractors, 338 trailers and four Alabama terminals to KAG as it expands its dry bulk transportation platform.

Auxo Investment Partners acquired Ferrovia Services and merged it with its existing platform Genesis Rail Services to form "Auxo Rail." Graycliff Partners provided subordinated debt and a minority equity investment to support the transaction, which aims to integrate vegetation-management and rail maintenance services to enable cross-selling to Class I, Class II and industrial railroad customers as well as state DOTs and utilities.

Knight-Swift Transportation Holdings Inc. acquired 100% of Dothan, Alabama-based AAA Cooper Transportation, a leading less-than-truckload (LTL) carrier. The $1.35 billion transaction (including assumed debt) is intended to provide Knight-Swift an LTL growth platform and is expected to be immediately accretive to adjusted EPS while preserving AAA Cooper's independent operations and leadership.
