Superior Environmental Solutions (a Palladium Equity Partners portfolio company) has acquired ChemWorx, a Decatur, Alabama-based specialist in chemical cleaning and fin fan foaming. The add-on transaction expands SES’s technical capabilities and regional footprint across the Southeast; financial terms were not disclosed.

Sun Auto Tire & Service acquired four tire and automotive service locations in Alabama through purchases of Bay City Tire & Wheel (Mobile), Black's Tire (Rainsville), and two Auto Save locations (Montgomery and Prattville). The deal expands Sun Auto's Gulf Coast and statewide footprint and folds the four stores into its Sun Auto Network, which now exceeds 550 locations nationwide.

Simplicity Group, a holistic financial planning firm headquartered in Summit, New Jersey, has acquired LeSourd Partners, a Birmingham, Alabama-based brokerage general agency. The deal expands Simplicity’s national footprint and strengthens its life insurance and advisor support capabilities while bringing Jake LeSourd, Diane Covin, and Kim Roberts into Simplicity as partners.

Troy, Michigan-based CPA and advisory firm Doeren Mayhew has acquired Birmingham, Alabama-based Dent Moses LLP and its affiliate Impact Technology Group LLC, effective Feb. 10. The deal establishes Doeren Mayhew's first office in Alabama, adds nine principals and nearly 65 professionals, and enhances its technology services through Impact Technology's managed and co-managed IT services platform.

CyberlinkASP, a Seaport Capital-backed advanced solutions provider, has acquired Fresh Managed IT, a Birmingham, Alabama-based managed services provider. The add-on expands Cyberlink's MSP footprint in the Southeast, brings Fresh IT's ~150 customers across healthcare, construction and restaurant markets, and strengthens regional capabilities in network management, cybersecurity and VoIP.

OuterBox, a portfolio company of WILsquare Capital, has acquired GRO Marketing, a Tuscaloosa-based digital performance marketing agency specializing in multifamily, student housing and senior living clients. The add-on strengthens OuterBox's vertical capabilities and performance marketing expertise to better serve residential community property management companies and ownership groups.

Gannet BioChem, a PE-backed specialty CDMO, has acquired Laysan Bio, a maker of activated polyethylene glycol (PEG) reagents based in Arab, Alabama. The add-on expands Gannet BioChem's activated polymer and bioconjugation capabilities, strengthening its ability to support partners from early development through GMP manufacturing.

Boyd Group Services Inc. completed the acquisition of Joe Hudson's Collision Center (JHCC Holdings LLC) for approximately US$1.3 billion, adding 258 collision-repair locations and increasing Boyd's North American footprint by 25% to 1,301 locations. The deal, funded via a US equity offering, senior notes and borrowings on its credit facility, strengthens Boyd's density in the U.S. Southeast and is expected to generate meaningful cost synergies.

Funds affiliated with Blackstone Energy Transition Partners and other Blackstone funds have acquired Alliance Technical Group (ATG), a Decatur, Alabama–based provider of environmental testing, monitoring and compliance services. ATG operates more than 60 offices and labs across the U.S. and Canada with over 2,200 employees; terms were not disclosed.
