Transportation Acquisitions in Nebraska

Mitsui & Co., Ltd. has acquired all shares of Taylor & Martin Enterprises, LLC, a US-based truck auction business headquartered in Fremont, Nebraska. Mitsui said the acquisition expands its industrial and mobility capabilities in North America, leveraging Taylor & Martin's auction expertise to grow auction sites and services across the US.

Ever.Ag, the Lewisville, Texas–based AgTech provider, has acquired Roger, a digital platform for bulk agricultural commodity trucking and logistics. The acquisition integrates Roger's freight-management and carrier/shipper marketplace with Ever.Ag's data analytics, aiming to deliver near-real-time logistics information and improved supply-chain transparency for agribusiness customers.

Alpine Air Express, a portfolio company of AE Industrial Partners, has acquired Suburban Air Freight, a Part-135 regional air cargo carrier headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska. The add-on expands Alpine’s regional fleet and capabilities and strengthens its contract relationships with parcel and postal customers such as DHL.

First Student agreed to acquire Mid States School Bus, a Wayne, Nebraska-based provider of school and charter transportation that operates roughly 200 buses across eastern Nebraska and South Dakota. The acquisition expands First Student's Midwestern footprint; Mid States' general manager Dean Carroll will remain in a leadership role. Terms were not disclosed.

TFI International, a publicly traded North American transportation and logistics company, acquired Aulick Leasing Corp. and ShirAul, LLC from the Aulick family. The deal adds Aulick’s contract-hauling fleet and ShirAul’s BulletTM trailer manufacturing capabilities, expanding TFI’s asset base and presence across the Central and Western United States.
