Transportation Acquisitions in Oregon

The Universal Group, a CAI Capital Partners portfolio company, has acquired D&H Flagging, a Portland-based traffic control services provider. The acquisition expands Universal's geographic footprint into Oregon and broadens its traffic control and equipment rental capabilities across the Pacific Northwest.

Miovision has acquired Traffic Technology Services (TTS), a leading provider of V2X connected-vehicle technologies and real-time traffic signal data services. The deal brings TTS's 80,000-intersection V2X IaaS and 11 patents into Miovision's traffic management platform, expanding its capabilities to serve automotive OEMs, fleet operators and public traffic agencies.

Port Jersey Logistics, a family-owned full-service 3PL based in Cranbury, New Jersey, has acquired TruckItNow Transportation of Wilsonville, Oregon. The deal expands Port Jersey/Continental Logistics' nationwide footprint and adds temperature-controlled (reefer/frozen) transportation, LTL pool capability, and related coordination/administration staff.

Storyteller Overland, a Birmingham, Alabama-based Class B RV manufacturer, has acquired GoCamp, a Portland-based peer-to-peer camper van rental service. The acquisition will enable GoCamp to expand nationally and give Storyteller a factory-endorsed rental channel for its MODE vans while preserving GoCamp's personalized rental model and leadership.

Toronto-based Strategic Mapping has acquired moovel North America, a Portland-based provider of mobile ticketing and multimodal transit solutions. The deal combines Strategic Mapping's ITS, CAD-AVL and systems-integration capabilities with moovel's mobile ticketing platforms to offer a broader product portfolio for public transit agencies.
