Palo Alto Networks intends to acquire Embrace, a provider of user-focused observability technology, to add real user monitoring capabilities to its Observability platform. The deal is expected to close in Palo Alto Networks’ first quarter of fiscal 2027 and will be paired with an internally developed synthetic monitoring capability (“Synthetics”) to extend the platform into digital experience monitoring.
Palo Alto Networks announced it intends to acquire Portkey, which provides centralized AI gateways for managing and protecting autonomous AI agents. The acquisition is intended to make Portkey the AI Gateway control plane for Palo Alto Networks’ Prisma AIRS platform, enabling runtime monitoring, routing, governance, and security for agentic AI traffic.
