MindMed has completed the acquisition of HealthMode, an AI-enabled digital medicine company that develops machine-learning digital measurement tools for clinical trials and remote patient monitoring. The deal was paid with MindMed shares and cash, and HealthMode co-founders Dr. Daniel R. Karlin and Bradford Cross have joined MindMed's executive team as Chief Medical Officer and Chief Technology Officer, respectively.

ThoughtSpot Acquires SeekWell

ThoughtSpot has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire SeekWell, a startup that enables SQL- and script-driven workflows to push cloud-data insights into business applications. The acquisition will let ThoughtSpot customers operationalize analytics—using natural language search to pull data from cloud warehouses, modify it (e.g., in spreadsheets), and automatically sync results back to apps like Salesforce, Slack, and marketing platforms.

EC Sourcing Group Acquires BidMode

EC Sourcing Group, a Morristown, New Jersey–based provider of SaaS procurement solutions, has acquired BidMode, a sourcing optimization and analytics specialist. As part of the deal BidMode CTO Ian Diakov joined EC Sourcing as an equity owner and Chief Technology Officer, and BidMode’s technology has been integrated to expand EC Sourcing’s machine learning, award optimization, and analytics capabilities; financial terms were not disclosed.

EdgeMode Acquires Synthesis Analytics Production (SAPL)

US data center operator EdgeMode has acquired Swedish Synthesis Analytics Production Ltd. (SAPL) for $1.75 million, taking ownership of a 95MW power purchase agreement, a long-term lease on an in-development 20MW HPC data center and ~20,000 sqm of adjacent land in Marviken, Sweden. The site — rebranded EdgeMode Europe — will use immersion and seawater cooling, target HPC/AI workloads and is planned to scale beyond the initial 20MW to as much as 300MW over time.

Investment Metrics Acquires Style Analytics

Databricks Acquires MosaicML

Databricks has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire MosaicML, a generative AI platform, for approximately $1.3 billion (inclusive of retention packages). The MosaicML team and technology — known for the MPT family of LLMs and model-training optimizations — will be integrated into the Databricks Lakehouse to expand Databricks' generative AI and model-training capabilities.
