Sage Acquires Lockstep

The Sage Group plc has agreed to acquire Lockstep, a Seattle-based provider of cloud-native accounting automation technology, to broaden Sage's office-of-the-CFO capabilities and expand its digital network for SMBs. Lockstep — which employs over 130 people and connects more than 26,000 businesses across 40+ accounting systems — will join Sage with its management team to accelerate connected accounting innovation.
