Canadian private equity firm PartnerOne has acquired mobile app testing company HeadSpin in a distressed sale, paying roughly $28.2 million according to TechCrunch. The deal follows revelations that HeadSpin's founder inflated revenue and was later convicted; PartnerOne plans to invest in the business under new management.

TitanX Acquires FrontSpin

TitanX acquired FrontSpin in an eight-figure transaction, combining TitanX's Phone Intent AI with FrontSpin's enterprise-grade cloud power dialer to create an end-to-end precision dialing platform for phone-led sales teams. FrontSpin will continue to operate as a standalone business while the companies plan to eventually integrate their platforms to improve connect rates and call deliverability.

Magna5 Acquires SpinnerTech

SpinnerTech founder Adam Spinner will join Magna5 as Executive Director of the New York Metro region as the combined company expands Magna5's managed services and cloud capabilities in the Northeast.

Bird Global Acquires Spin from TIER Mobility

Bird Global, Inc. acquired Skinny Labs, Inc. (doing business as Spin) from Berlin-based TIER Mobility for $19 million in a deal that included $10 million cash upfront, $6 million vendor take back and $3 million holdback. The acquisition makes Bird North America’s largest micromobility operator by market share, adds Spin’s ~60,000-vehicle fleet and ~50-city footprint, and is expected to deliver more than $20 million in synergies and be immediately accretive to earnings.

Kobiton Acquires Mobile Labs

Kobiton has acquired Mobile Labs to combine Kobiton's AI-driven mobile testing platform with Mobile Labs' on‑premises device cloud (GigaFox), enabling hybrid cloud and on‑prem deployments. The deal was funded by BIP Capital and Fulcrum Equity Partners, with support from Kobiton's seed investors, to accelerate Kobiton's product capabilities and market reach.

N-able Acquires Spinpanel

The acquisition expands N-able’s cloud management capabilities to help its MSP partners automate provisioning, security, and license management across Microsoft tenants; financial terms were not disclosed.
