HeadSpin has acquired NimbleDroid, a mobile application performance testing company, and will integrate NimbleDroid's client-side functional performance testing tools and team into the HeadSpin platform. NimbleDroid co-founders Junfeng Yang and Younghoon Jeon join HeadSpin as Chief Scientist and HeadSpin Fellow, respectively; financial terms were not disclosed.

Bird Global Acquires Spin from TIER Mobility

Bird Global, Inc. acquired Skinny Labs, Inc. (doing business as Spin) from Berlin-based TIER Mobility for $19 million in a deal that included $10 million cash upfront, $6 million vendor take back and $3 million holdback. The acquisition makes Bird North America’s largest micromobility operator by market share, adds Spin’s ~60,000-vehicle fleet and ~50-city footprint, and is expected to deliver more than $20 million in synergies and be immediately accretive to earnings.
