Bentley Systems Acquires SPIDA Software

Bentley Systems has acquired SPIDA Software, a Columbus, Ohio-based developer of specialized utility pole design, analysis, and asset management software. The acquisition (advised by 7 Mile Advisors to SPIDA) adds approximately 26 colleagues to Bentley and will integrate SPIDA's structural analysis and pole-management capabilities into Bentley's OpenUtilities grid digital twin and cloud services to support grid modernization and 5G/EV infrastructure demands.
