Oakland Standard Company, a private equity firm, has added Damascus Steel Casting Company to its specialty metals platform alongside Temperform and The C.A. Lawton Co. The add-on expands the platform's capabilities in steel and engineered castings (low- to medium-volume shell-mold production) and will be integrated under a new platform leadership team led by Alex Lawton.

Davis-Standard, a Pawcatuck, Connecticut–headquartered designer and manufacturer of extrusion and converting systems with more than 1,400 employees worldwide, will be positioned for accelerated growth and expanded aftermarket and process-solutions capabilities under Gamut's ownership.
