Tecum Capital-Led Investor Group Recapitalizes Automotive Systems Warehouse (ASW)

A consortium led by Pittsburgh-based private equity firm Tecum Capital, alongside Siguler Guff, Centerfield Capital Partners and UMB Family Wealth, has completed an eight-figure recapitalization of Automotive Systems Warehouse, LLC (ASW). The deal, which included equity and subordinated debt and involved ASW management as co-investors, funds growth initiatives and addresses founder succession while keeping the existing leadership team in place.

ASSA ABLOY Acquires Integrated Warehouse Solutions (IWS)

ASSA ABLOY has acquired Integrated Warehouse Solutions (IWS), a Burleson, Texas-based manufacturer of loading dock equipment with about 550 employees and 2022 sales of approximately $170 million. The acquisition expands ASSA ABLOY's Entrance Systems product offering and is expected to be accretive to EPS from the start.

UTAC, LLC Acquires USA Truck from DSV

DSV has sold 100% of USA Truck to UTAC, LLC, a private Arkansas-based entity formed by current and former USA Truck leaders including CEO George Henry, former CFO Zachary King and former CEO James Reed. The deal returns the 42-year-old carrier to U.S.-based ownership; financial terms were not disclosed and DSV said the sale positions USA Truck for future growth under local management.

ASC Engineered Solutions Acquires Ward Manufacturing

ASC Engineered Solutions (Oak Brook, IL) has acquired Ward Manufacturing (Blossburg, Pennsylvania) from Proterial America, Ltd., a subsidiary of Proterial, Ltd. The acquisition adds Ward's pipe-joining components and WARDFlex corrugated stainless steel tubing to ASC's product portfolio, expanding ASC's capability and product offering across construction, industrial, fire protection and oil & gas end markets.

Rand Logistics Acquires American Steamship Company from GATX Corporation

Rand Logistics, a portfolio company of American Industrial Partners, has completed the acquisition of American Steamship Company from GATX Corporation. The deal combines ASC's self-unloading Great Lakes fleet with Rand's operations to create a larger, more flexible dry-bulk shipping platform across the Great Lakes.

Endless LLP Acquires ASCO Group

ASCO, headquartered in Aberdeen, Scotland, is a global provider of multi-site integrated supply base operations and offshore logistics to the energy sector and employs roughly 1,500 people across 60 locations; Endless plans to support ASCO's growth into renewables and new energy markets.
