Viridium Group Acquires Traditional Life Insurance Portfolio from Zurich Deutscher Herold

Viridium Group has signed an agreement with Zurich Group Germany to acquire a portfolio of around 720,000 traditional life insurance policies (approximately €21 billion AUM) from Zurich Deutscher Herold Lebensversicherung AG. The portfolio will be migrated to the Viridium platform under a new brand, with service agreements in place for a three-year transition and regulatory approval required prior to closing.

The Singapore portfolio and its employees have transferred into MILAC's Singapore branch following receipt of court and regulatory approvals in the Isle of Man and Singapore.
