Charterhouse-backed SLR Consulting has acquired two specialist consultancies, Corporate Citizenship and Vectos, as add-on acquisitions to broaden its ESG, sustainability and transport/mobility capabilities. The deals strengthen SLR’s global footprint and advisory offering across the built environment, infrastructure and low‑carbon/ESG markets as the firm pursues a roll-up strategy in the fragmented environmental consultancy sector.

The transaction, implemented via a conditional court-approved scheme, is expected to close by Q4 2022 subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals; Ares said it will support SLR’s next phase of growth in ESG and sustainability services.
