Anthropic Acquires Vercept to Advance Claude's Computer Use Capabilities

Anthropic has acquired Seattle-based startup Vercept and will integrate Vercept’s team and technology into its Claude product to improve autonomous computer-use and multi-step task performance. Vercept will wind down its external product as its employees join Anthropic to help expand Claude’s ability to operate inside live applications and handle complex workflows.
