LightBay Capital and Freeman Spogli & Co., together with management, have acquired FASTSIGNS International, Inc., the leading signage and visual graphics franchisor headquartered in Carrollton, Texas. The investors intend to support FASTSIGNS' next phase of growth and expand its footprint across domestic and international markets; Ares Capital provided senior debt financing and Levine Leichtman Capital Partners completed the sale.

Canyon Equities Acquires FastSigns Grand Rapids

Canyon Equities, the Custer family holding company, has acquired FastSigns Grand Rapids, a custom signage and visual communications provider founded in 2005. The acquisition, driven in part by owner Mike Gilpin's decision to pursue teaching, will see leadership transition with Shawn Fiske joining as general manager and the business integrated into Canyon Equities' portfolio.

Strategic Factory Acquires A|A Signs

A|A Signs will operate as "A|A Signs powered by Strategic Factory," with founders Art and Alan Eanet remaining in leadership and the company's ~30 employees joining Strategic Factory's workforce.

Propelled Brands (FASTSIGNS) Acquires NerdsToGo

Pattison Sign Group Acquires Chandler Signs

Pattison Sign Group (PSG), a North American signage and physical branding platform, has acquired Chandler Signs, a vertically integrated sign design, manufacturing, installation and maintenance provider based in Fort Worth, Texas. The deal expands PSG's manufacturing capacity, service capabilities and North American footprint; Chandler Signs brings more than 270 employees and a 170,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility.

CapitalSpring Acquires Coast Sign

CapitalSpring, a middle-market private investment firm, partnered with Coast Sign management to acquire Coast Sign, a U.S.-based manufacturer and service provider of exterior signage headquartered in Anaheim, California. CapitalSpring said it will support Coast Sign's growth through organic investment and strategic acquisitions to add capabilities and customers across multi-location end markets.
