Decisions and ProcessMaker Merge to Create AI Business Orchestration Leader

Decisions and ProcessMaker announced a merger to form a combined Business Orchestration and Automation Technologies (BOAT) company, bringing together ProcessMaker’s AI-enriched workflows and Intelligent Document Processing with Decisions’ enterprise rules engine and orchestration capabilities. The combined company, backed by private equity firm Aldrich Capital Partners and led by CEO Giles Whiting, will serve more than 700 customers across industries including financial services, healthcare, insurance, education, manufacturing and government.

SAP Acquires Signavio from Apax Digital, DTCP and Summit Partners

SAP agreed to acquire Signavio, a Berlin-based provider of SaaS business-process management and process intelligence software, from investors Apax Digital Fund, DTCP and Summit Partners. The transaction (terms undisclosed) was announced January 27, 2021 and expected to close in Q2 2021 subject to regulatory approvals, adding Signavio's process mining, modeling and workflow capabilities to SAP's portfolio.

Apptio Acquires Targetprocess

The deal will integrate Targetprocess into Apptio’s product suite (rebranded Apptio Targetprocess) to help customers align portfolio, product management, and software delivery with financial governance and business value tracking.

ProcessMaker Acquires Doculayer to Add Intelligent Document Processing

Ideagen Acquires ProcessMAP

UK-based regulatory software provider Ideagen has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire ProcessMAP, a US-headquartered environmental, health and safety (EHS) software business. The combination will create an expanded EHSQ software offering, leveraging Ideagen's global customer base and Hg (Ideagen's majority investor) will remain the majority investor in the combined business.
