Capstone Logistics, a PE-backed third-party logistics provider, has acquired Rapid Response Delivery, a Maryland-based last-mile delivery company serving the mid-Atlantic region. The acquisition expands Capstone’s last-mile and final-mile capabilities, adding medical/pharmaceutical, e-commerce parcel, and pool distribution services across Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Virginia and Washington, D.C.

Canada Cartage Acquires The GTI Group to Enter U.S. Market

Canada Cartage Corporation has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire The GTI Group, a Montreal-based logistics provider offering brokerage, freight management, forwarding, drayage, intermodal, warehousing and specialized heavy/oversize trucking. The deal expands Canada Cartage’s service capabilities and marks its first entry into the U.S. market, with GTI’s U.S. offices in Houston, Des Moines and Franklin, Tennessee; the combined company is expected to generate over C$1 billion in annual revenue.

Radiant Logistics Acquires Select Logistics, Inc. and Select Cartage, Inc.

Radiant Logistics, a publicly traded third-party logistics provider based in Renton, Washington, has acquired Select Logistics, Inc. and Select Cartage, Inc., two Doral, Florida–based freight forwarding and cartage businesses that have operated under Radiant's Adcom Worldwide brand since 2007. The transaction includes earnout-based consideration and will see Select transition to the Radiant brand and combine with Radiant's existing South Florida operations, with Gabby Santos named General Manager and co-founder Hector Cavallo departing to pursue other interests.

Canada Cartage Acquires Stalco Inc.

Stalco will operate under its existing brand and be integrated with Canada Cartage’s fulfillment and distribution division (CCLS), with existing staff and management remaining in place.

The purchase expands Fastfrate's cross-border capabilities and U.S. market footprint by integrating Bestway's Ontario–U.S. operations into Fastfrate's Woodbridge facility to provide end-to-end, closed-loop cross-border service.
