Carrick Capital Partners and Factor Invest in LegalSifter

Carrick Capital Partners has closed a growth investment in LegalSifter, the Pittsburgh-based contracts-focused legal technology company, with Carrick portfolio company Factor investing alongside. As part of the deal Carrick principals Jim Madden and Ivan Whittey — and Factor CEO Varun Mehta — will join LegalSifter’s board; the company will use the funding to expand its AI-driven contract products and scale operations.
