MODE Transportation Acquires SunteckTTS from Comvest Partners

MODE Transportation has completed the acquisition of SunteckTTS Inc. from Comvest Partners, combining two large non-asset third-party logistics providers to create a multimodal logistics platform. The combined company expands capabilities across truckload, LTL, intermodal, drayage, air, ocean and parcel freight, facilitating more than 1.5 million annual shipments and generating over $2 billion of revenue.

MODE Global Acquires Jillamy Freight Brokerage Division

MODE Global has acquired the freight brokerage business of Jillamy, integrating Jillamy's freight team and assets into MODE's 3PL platform. The deal transfers more than 200 employees and adds facilities across multiple U.S. states and Ontario, while Jillamy retains its warehousing, packaging and fulfillment operations.

Nuvocargo Acquires Merge Transportation

Nuvocargo has acquired Charleston, South Carolina-based third-party logistics provider Merge Transportation, adding intra-U.S. brokerage and transportation capabilities to its existing U.S.–Mexico cross-border platform. The acquisition (terms undisclosed) brings Merge's ~14-person team into Nuvocargo and expands the company's service offering across North America.

U.S. Multimodal Group (ARC network) Acquires TransONE

U.S. Multimodal Group, the parent company operating the ARC drayage network, has acquired 100% of the stock of TransONE, a Memphis-based intermodal drayage, container storage and equipment maintenance provider. ARC/US Multimodal partnered with ARC Industries and several unnamed minority investors to fold TransONE into its growing platform as the fourth drayage location in the network.

CargoSprint Acquires Advent eModal

BlueGrace Logistics Acquires Anthym Logistics

Tampa-based BlueGrace Logistics has acquired freight broker Anthym Logistics, a recently formed Tampa–Chicago freight brokerage that resulted from a merger of Atomic Transportation and Cousins Logistics. The tuck-in deal strengthens BlueGrace’s presence in Tampa and Chicago, adds refrigerated truckload (reefer) capacity and produce expertise, and expands its branch footprint across the U.S.
