Fastly, the edge cloud platform, has acquired Glitch, a developer platform used by more than 1.8 million developers, to integrate Glitch's developer experience and community into Fastly's edge tooling. The Glitch team will form a new Developer Experience group within Fastly to build tighter technical integrations and enable faster developer-to-deploy workflows at the edge.

Fastly Acquires Signal Sciences for $775M

Fastly, Inc. agreed to acquire Signal Sciences for approximately $775 million in a combination of cash and Fastly Class A common stock. The deal adds Signal Sciences' developer-first web application and API protection (WAF/RASP) technology to Fastly's edge cloud platform to create an integrated Secure@Edge security offering and expand Fastly's security capabilities.

FastPay Acquires AnchorOps

FastPay, a Los Angeles-based fintech that provides capital and payments solutions to digital businesses, has acquired AnchorOps, a provider of electronic payment and reconciliation solutions for media buyers. The deal combines FastPay's lending, analytics and payments capabilities with AnchorOps' verticalized media payment products to create an integrated financial workflow for the advertising ecosystem.

GraphCDN Acquires FastQL

Splunk Inc. has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Flowmill, a Palo Alto–based cloud network observability company that specializes in network performance monitoring using eBPF technology. The acquisition expands Splunk's Observability Suite by adding real-time cloud network telemetry and NPM capabilities; the deal was announced November 24, 2020 and expected to close in Splunk's fiscal fourth quarter.

Buyers Edge Platform Acquires ArrowStream

ArrowStream's cloud platform — which connects thousands of distributors, suppliers and restaurant locations — will operate as a Buyers Edge platform company to expand the buyer's supply chain visibility and analytics capabilities; terms were not disclosed.
