Canerector Acquires Quality Fabrication, Inc.

Canerector Inc., a Toronto-based multi-divisional metal fabrication group, acquired Quality Fabrication, Inc., a Chatsworth, California precision sheet metal manufacturer. Plethora Businesses served as exclusive sell-side advisor; the purchase will allow Canerector to expand its North American footprint and strengthen its presence in the California market. Transaction terms were not disclosed.

Canerector / Conrex Steel Acquires Prescor LLC

Marubeni Corporation, through its wholly owned Canadian subsidiary Belterra Corporation, acquired 100% of Remacan Industries Inc., a Sudbury, Ontario-based conveyor belt distributor and repair services provider. The acquisition expands Belterra's geographic coverage into Eastern Canada and strengthens Marubeni's conveyor belt business and field service capabilities in North America.
