The deal expands Forward Solutions' coverage into the utility and telecom sectors and strengthens its Central U.S. geographic footprint; Utility Sales Associates will operate as a standalone go-to-market brand within the Forward Solutions portfolio.

Southwire Company Acquires Madison Electric Products LLC

Southwire Company, LLC has acquired Madison Electric Products LLC, a Solon, Ohio-based manufacturer of electrical components and accessories. The acquisition adds Madison's product lines, brands and innovation pipeline to Southwire's Tools, Components and Assembled Solutions business and brings 34 employees along with facilities in Solon, OH and Duluth, GA.

Midway Electric Partners with Savannah Rush

Midway Electric, a Columbia, Missouri electrical services firm founded in 2001, announced a new local partnership between founders Brandon and Michele Spry and Savannah Rush. Rush, a Missouri native and former McKinsey consultant with an MBA from Harvard, joins as a partner to preserve the company’s local legacy and lead growth while operations leader Jake Tamm remains in a leadership role. Shearer Company (Minneapolis, MN) and concurrently formed Forward Solutions as an umbrella go-to-market platform. The transactions fold OneSolution into a new standalone brand within Forward Solutions and fold J.J. Shearer into the Avision brand, expanding the platform's coverage across industrial safety, facility maintenance, cleaning and packaging verticals.
