ASKO Holding (Başak Traktör) to Acquire Majority of Buhler Industries

ASKO Holding, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Başak Traktör, has agreed to acquire approximately 96.7% of the common shares of Buhler Industries Inc. and purchase outstanding debt owed to Rostselmash for an aggregate cash consideration of CAD$60.5 million. The deal, which purchases shares from Combine Factory Rostselmash Ltd., is intended to support ASKO's expansion into the North American agricultural equipment market and is expected to close by year-end or early January 2024.

Finnish distributor Telko Oy has agreed to acquire the entire share capital of Sweden-based Swed Handling AB, including subsidiaries Kebelco AB, Kemiverken AB, Swed Handling Transport AB and associated CrossChem Sweden AB. The acquisition (subject to competition authority approval) will significantly strengthen Telko's chemicals business and make Sweden its largest market; Swed Handling Group employs about 95 people and has annual turnover of roughly EUR 60 million.
