ISG, a 100% employee-owned architecture, engineering, environmental, and planning firm, has acquired JDAVIS, a multi-disciplinary design firm with offices in Raleigh, North Carolina and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The acquisition expands ISG’s geographic footprint into North Carolina and Pennsylvania and strengthens its residential and mixed-use design capabilities across architecture, landscape architecture, interior design, planning, and procurement management.

Torque Capital Group Acquires Joe Gibbs Manufacturing Solutions (JGA Space & Defense)

Torque Capital Group has acquired Joe Gibbs Manufacturing Solutions from Joe Gibbs Racing and rebranded the business as JGA Space & Defense. The company will focus on supplying advanced specialty composites, precision-machined aerospace and defense components, and rocket propulsion assemblies, and will expand into a ~60,000 sq. ft. facility in Huntersville, North Carolina to support growth into the space and defense supply chain.

J.F. Lehman & Company Acquires Integrated Global Services

Lehman & Company (through an investment affiliate) acquired Integrated Global Services (IGS), a Richmond, Virginia–based provider of engineered surface protection and metal cladding solutions, in a transaction that closed February 4, 2020. The deal — the first platform investment for JFLCO's JFL Equity Investors V fund — was financed in part with debt from Benefit Street Partners and involved selling shareholders including Industrial Growth Partners.

Creative Artists Agency Acquires Full Ownership of CAA-GBG Global Brand Management Group

Creative Artists Agency (CAA) has acquired full ownership of the business of CAA-GBG Global Brand Management Group (previously a 2016 JV with Global Brands Group), launching an integrated CAA Brand Management division. The unit — led by Perry Wolfman and Noah Gelbart and employing more than 160 people across 17 countries — will be folded into CAA's operations; financial terms were not disclosed.

The add-on expands Grace's healthcare capabilities and footprint in the Mid-Atlantic (Maryland, North Carolina and South Carolina) while CRGA will operate as a Grace Design Studio with its leadership remaining in place.
