Vanguard Renewables has acquired E‑Z Recycling, a St. Paul, Minnesota depackaging and food & beverage waste recycling facility, to expand its Midwest organics recycling network. The acquisition adds critical depackaging capabilities and additional processing capacity to Vanguard's anaerobic digestion and renewable natural gas (RNG) operations; E‑Z Recycling owner Andy Rausch will remain involved as Principal Operations Manager.

Monster Beverage Acquires Bang Energy Assets from Vital Pharmaceuticals (VPX)

Monster Beverage Corporation, through its subsidiary Blast Asset Acquisition LLC, completed the acquisition of substantially all assets of Vital Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (owner of the Bang Energy brand) for approximately $362 million. The deal includes the Bang Energy beverage business and a beverage production facility in Phoenix, Arizona, which Monster said it will ramp up to support its broader portfolio.

Arbor Vita8 Acquires Mobile Hemp Drying Company

Arbor Vita8, a seed-to-sale hemp processor based in Phenix City, Alabama, has acquired Mobile Hemp Drying Company, a Florida-based builder, lessor and distributor of mobile hemp dryers, and formed a new subsidiary, Arbor Vita8 Dry, LLC (AV8D). The acquisition expands Arbor Vita8's on-farm drying capabilities, enabling mobile drying services across the Southeast and planned national rollout to reduce crop loss and speed post-harvest processing for hemp farmers.

BlackRock Real Assets Acquires Vanguard Renewables from Vision Ridge Partners

A fund managed by BlackRock Real Assets has acquired Vanguard Renewables from Vision Ridge Partners. BlackRock will partner with Vanguard Renewables' management to scale the company's organics-to-renewable energy platform, supporting plans to commission more than 100 anaerobic digesters to produce renewable natural gas across the United States.

VLS Recovery Acquires JBR Environmental Services

The deal gives Organigram an immediate footprint in the U.S. hemp-derived THC beverage market and accelerates its entry into the cannabis beverage category in Canada by adding Collective Project’s ready-to-drink hemp/cannabis beverage portfolio and existing U.S. retail listings.
