Adaptas Solutions Acquires Applied Kilovolts and Analytical Instrumentation Business from L3Harris Technologies

Adaptas Solutions, a portfolio company of Ampersand Capital Partners, agreed to acquire L3Harris Technologies' Applied Kilovolts and Analytical Instrumentation business to expand its mass spectrometry component offering, add the CeraMAX product line and broaden its global manufacturing footprint (including Europe). Financial terms were not disclosed; the transaction was announced in February 2020 and expected to close mid-2020.
