Surge Private Equity Acquires Bar Partners, Merges It with Portfolio Company Amuze Products

Surge Private Equity invested in Bar Partners, a vending and amusement operator for bars, nightclubs, theaters and other entertainment venues, and merged it with its existing portfolio company Amuze Products. The transaction, financed with debt from Woodforest National Bank and led legally by BakerHostetler, valued the deal at around $50 million and combines complementary product lines and customer footprints across all 50 U.S. states.

Amuze Products Acquires Pipeline Games

Amuze Products, in partnership with Bar Partners and owner Surge Private Equity (operating as Surge Amuze Holdings), has acquired Pipeline Games, a developer of arcade and prize games for entertainment venues. The acquisition was financed with an expansion facility from Bluehenge Capital Partners alongside existing senior lenders, and Pipeline Games will operate as a subsidiary of Surge Amuze Holdings to expand product offerings and accelerate growth in the amusement industry.

Amuze Acquires Ferris Music Service (Mainely ATMs)

The acquisition—financed by WhiteHorse Capital—adds Ferris's more than 1,200 amusement games and 240 ATMs to Amuze's network and will be integrated with Amuze's operating brands including Bar Partners.
