Internet Brands, a KKR-backed owner of WebMD Health Corp., has agreed to acquire PulsePoint, Inc., a programmatic healthcare marketing technology company that uses real-time data and machine learning to deliver health insights. The acquisition will expand Internet Brands' healthcare marketing technology capabilities by adding PulsePoint's programmatic exchange, data assets, and privacy-focused targeting tools; PulsePoint will continue to operate independently with teams in New York, San Francisco, and London.

The acquisition adds over 200 clients to springbig's roster (raising its total to more than 1,900 retail partners) and integrates BudTender's survey, reputation management and AI-powered feedback capabilities into springbig's SMS and loyalty platform.
