Vance Street Capital Acquires Injectech and Forms VSC Medical Molding Platform

Vance Street Capital has acquired Injectech from The West Group and added it to its newly formed VSC Medical Molding platform, expanding the platform's precision injection-molding and single-use fluid management capabilities for medical device, life science and bioprocessing customers. Injectech, headquartered in Fort Collins, Colorado, will operate alongside Resenex under the VSC Medical Molding platform to broaden component offerings and custom manufacturing capabilities.

Vander-Bend Acquires TMK Manufacturing

KDI Precision Manufacturing Acquires Envision Plastics and Design

KDI Precision Manufacturing has acquired Envision Plastics and Design LLC, completing the transaction on June 30 to expand KDI's plastics manufacturing capabilities for medical and industrial electronics customers. The deal brings Envision's proprietary "No Molds Required" (NMR) technology and its White Bear Lake operations together with KDI's Rogers facility and electro-mechanical assembly, creating an integrated turnkey provider for OEMs.

Los Angeles-based private equity firm Vance Street Capital has acquired Plastic Design Corporation (PDC), a Scottsdale, Arizona-based contract manufacturer of micro-molded plastic components for the MedTech and life sciences markets. Founder Mark Kinder will resume as President, and Vance Street intends to leverage PDC's micro-molding and over-molding capabilities to expand its medtech manufacturing platform and serve medical device OEMs and microfluidics customers.

Vander-Bend (Aterian) Acquires Omni Components Corporation

Vander-Bend Manufacturing, a portfolio company of Aterian Investment Partners, has acquired Omni Components Corporation, a precision manufacturer of tight-tolerance medical consumables headquartered in Hudson, New Hampshire. The add-on expands Vander-Bend’s medical technology capabilities and manufacturing footprint in the Northeast and Southwest, adding two facilities and complementary capabilities for spinal, cardiovascular and tendon-related OEM products. Omni’s founder and owner, Frank Stone, and his team will join the Vander-Bend platform.
