The deal positions Daring as v2food's U.S. operating brand and provides v2food with a platform to launch its proprietary food technologies across the U.S., while Ajinomoto brings global food-science expertise and scale to accelerate product development and international expansion.

Foodist reported KRW 1.03 trillion in revenue for the year ended Dec 31, 2023; the sale gives VIG Partners roughly a 2x return and strengthens Sajo's position in food materials distribution and catering.
