Chenega Corporation, an Alaska Native government services contractor, has acquired SecuriGence LLC, a Washington, D.C. metro–based cybersecurity and systems engineering firm. The acquisition expands Chenega’s Military, Intelligence and Operations Support (MIOS) capabilities and adds technical cybersecurity, systems engineering, and cloud capabilities to support additional Defense and federal intelligence customers.

Cherokee Nation Businesses, through its federal contracting division Cherokee Federal and growth vehicle Sovereign Capital, has acquired a majority stake in Management Science and Innovation, LLC (MSI), a Washington, D.C.-area consulting firm focused on federal agency transformation and digital modernization. The investment is part of Sovereign Capital’s strategy to provide growth capital and strategic support to founder-led companies serving the federal government and will help MSI scale its capabilities and reach.
