Cadence, Inc., a contract manufacturer of medical and drug delivery devices, has acquired Utitec, Inc., a Watertown, Connecticut-based maker of miniature deep-drawn metal components with an additional facility in Alajuela, Costa Rica. The acquisition expands Cadence's deep-draw capabilities and cleanroom assembly capacity to support medical device and drug-delivery customers and accelerate product transfers and growth.
