Affiliates of Z Capital Partners (ZCG) have acquired Universal Marine Medical Supply International (Unimed), the leading global provider of pharmaceutical and medical solutions to the maritime industry; financial terms were not disclosed. Unimed serves ~10,000 ships per year from 10 worldwide offices and ZCG plans to expand Unimed's addressable market into super yachts, yacht management companies and manufacturers while enhancing its medical supplies and services for cruise and commercial vessels.

Unimed (ZCG-Backed) Acquires Regenboog Shipping Pharmacy

UNIMED, a ZCG Private Equity–backed provider of medical and compliance solutions for the maritime industry, has acquired Regenboog Shipping Pharmacy, a Rotterdam-based distributor of pharmaceutical products and medical devices serving the maritime sector. The add-on expands Unimed’s presence in the Netherlands, builds on its recent Lagaay integration, and brings Regenboog’s portfolio of more than 1,000 SKUs and ~300+ customers into the Unimed platform.

Adelis Equity Partners Takes Majority Stake in UniSea AS

UniSea, founded in 1997, serves around 90 customers with software used on roughly 1,500 vessels across the Nordics, Europe and North America; Adelis will partner with management to support the company’s global expansion.
