SRS will remain led by its managing directors and will join Arax's multi-partner platform to scale advisory, operations, technology and wealth-planning capabilities.

IES Holdings Acquires Aerial Lighting & Electric

Aerial, which had approximately $24 million in 2019 revenue and over 60 employees, will join IES's Residential segment to strengthen and expand IES's presence in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.

Strategic Retail Partners Acquires Distributions Franco

Strategic Retail Partners (SRP), a portfolio company of Aurora Capital Partners, acquired Quebec-based Distributions Franco, a distributor of electronics, eyewear, toys, jewelry and clothing for convenience stores and service stations. The deal, which closed February 28, 2022, expands SRP’s product portfolio and strengthens its presence in the Quebec and broader Canadian convenience-store channels.

SRS Distribution Acquires Arrowhead Building Supply

SRS Distribution has acquired Arrowhead Building Supply, a roofing-focused building products distributor with five locations across Missouri and Arkansas. Arrowhead — based in St. Peters, Missouri and founded in 1997 — will continue to be led by Larry Saxe and Jerry Pogue, and the company’s roughly 130 employees will become part of the SRS platform, which is backed by Leonard Green & Partners and Berkshire Partners.

Robinson Helicopter Company has acquired Ascent AeroSystems, a Wilmington, Massachusetts-based maker of coaxial uncrewed aerial systems (UAS). The deal brings Ascent's all-weather, modular drone platforms and payload ecosystem into Robinson's manufacturing footprint in Torrance, California to support expanded capability offerings for law enforcement, public safety, industrial and defense customers.
