Lamons Acquires AUGE Industrial Fasteners

Lamons, a First Reserve-backed manufacturer of sealing and attachment solutions, has acquired AUGE Industrial Fasteners, a North American maker of engineered critical fasteners with primary operations in Lerma, Mexico. The acquisition is intended to vertically integrate Lamons' supply chain, expand manufacturing capacity, and better serve blue‑chip customers across energy, chemical, construction and OEM markets; financial terms were not disclosed.

First Reserve Acquires Lamons Business from TriMas for $135M

TriMas Company, LLC has entered into a definitive agreement to sell its Lamons business to private equity firm First Reserve for $135 million in cash, subject to customary adjustments and regulatory approvals. Lamons, a manufacturer of industrial sealing and fastener solutions with approximately $186 million in net sales for the 12 months ended September 30, 2019, will be positioned by First Reserve to focus on energy-related end markets; the deal was expected to close by end of Q1 2020.

Muon Acquires LouwersHanique

Dutch micro-precision solutions provider Muon, backed by Gilde Buy Out Partners, has completed the acquisition of LouwersHanique, a manufacturer of high-precision technical glass and advanced ceramic components. The deal expands Muon's capabilities in technical glass and ceramics to better serve semiconductor and medical end-markets and is expected to lift the combined group's revenues to well over EUR 110 million.

BAM Coatings Acquires L&L Concrete Coating

Appleton, Wisconsin-based BAM Coatings has acquired Fort Worth installer L&L Concrete Coating to expand its footprint into the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. The acquisition gives BAM an immediate local presence in North Texas and will allow the company to offer its polyurea concrete coating systems to residential and commercial customers in the region.

Accudynamics Acquires TAM Metal Products

Accudynamics, LLC — part of the Makers Forward family of companies — has acquired TAM Metal Products (aka TAM Precision, LLC), a Mahwah, New Jersey-based manufacturer of sheet metal enclosures, precision components and assemblies. The acquisition is an add-on to the Accudynamics Group intended to expand manufacturing capabilities, capacity and service offerings for aerospace, defense, medical and other commercial customers.

Sumitomo Corporation Acquires Saconix LLC

Sumitomo Corporation, through Sumitomo Corporation of Americas, has completed the acquisition of Saconix LLC from Copperbeck Energy Partners, making Saconix a wholly owned subsidiary of the Sumitomo Corporation Group. The deal adds sulfuric acid storage tanks and transloading facilities in the U.S. West and Gulf Coast, expanding Sumitomo's North American logistics capacity and boosting its global sulfuric acid trading and storage footprint.
