Cotton Creek Capital Acquires Bobcat Heavy Civil to Form Bobcat Power Holdings

Cotton Creek Capital has formed Bobcat Power Holdings, LLC and acquired regional substation contractor Bobcat Heavy Civil, LLC to create a platform for substation infrastructure services. Bobcat, headquartered in Waco, Texas, will continue providing turnkey substation site work and above-ground electrical construction across Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana as Cotton Creek scales the business.

Sun Capital Partners Affiliate Acquires Cotton Holdings, Inc.

An affiliate of Sun Capital Partners has completed the acquisition of Cotton Holdings, Inc., a Houston-based provider of infrastructure support services including disaster restoration, roofing, logistics, temporary housing and culinary services. Terms were not disclosed; Sun Capital said it will partner with founder Pete Bell to pursue organic growth and strategic acquisitions to expand Cotton's market share.

BHI Energy Acquires Coastal Electrical Construction

BHI Energy has acquired Coastal Electrical Construction, a Flomaton, Alabama–based provider of substation, transmission and distribution construction and maintenance services to major utilities in the Southeastern United States. The deal is the third add-on for BHI in the T&D space since its acquisition by AE Industrial Partners and is intended to expand BHI's geographic footprint and service capabilities in the Southeast; terms were not disclosed.

BMS CAT Acquires Highland Construction

Blackmon Mooring & BMS CAT (BMS CAT) has acquired Highland Construction, adding Highland’s three eastern North Carolina locations (Fayetteville, Raleigh and Wilmington) to BMS CAT’s existing North Carolina footprint. The acquisition expands BMS CAT’s restoration and reconstruction capabilities in the state and brings Highland’s residential and commercial mitigation and reconstruction expertise into the combined platform.

Platform Partners Acquires Champion Contractors & Services

Platform Partners has acquired Champion Contractors & Services, a national commercial roofing and storm restoration services provider headquartered in Round Rock, Texas. Stellus Capital Management provided unitranche senior debt financing and an equity co-investment to support the transaction. Platform Partners said it will support Champion's operational growth and geographic expansion.

Sullivan Brothers Family of Companies Acquires Cotton Holdings from Sun Capital Partners

Sullivan Brothers Family of Companies (SBFC) has acquired Cotton Holdings, a Houston-based infrastructure support and disaster recovery services platform, from Sun Capital Partners. The deal transfers ownership to the family-founded operator, which says it will invest in expanding Cotton's service capabilities, geographic reach and long-term growth across the U.S. and internationally.
