Schill Grounds Management Acquires The Ohio Valley Group's Commercial Division

Schill Grounds Management, a portfolio company of Argonne Capital Group, has purchased the commercial division of The Ohio Valley Group in a carve-out add-on that expands Schill's service area to the east side of Cleveland. About a dozen commercial employees, equipment and use of a portion of The Ohio Valley Group's facilities will transfer to Schill while the Dangelos retain residential operations and pursue other ventures.

Balance Point Provides Financing to Sylmar Group

Balance Point Capital Advisors, alongside its affiliated fund Balance Point Capital Partners IV, provided debt capital to Sylmar Group to support Sylmar's buy-and-build strategy and enable the acquisitions of two water- and wastewater-related businesses. Sylmar, a Los Angeles–based platform focused on industrial water treatment and pump/well maintenance, will use the financing to scale its platform and expand services to commercial and utility customers across the Southwest U.S.

Schill Grounds Management Acquires Enviroscapes

The deal brings Enviroscapes' ~200 employees into Schill's platform (adding to Schill's ~400 staff) and expands Schill's footprint into the Akron/Canton and Youngstown markets as part of broader Midwest growth.

Schill Grounds Management Acquires TLC Landscaping and Grounds Elite

Schill Grounds Management has acquired TLC Landscaping (London, Ontario) — its first international acquisition — to expand into the Greater Toronto Area, and separately purchased Grounds Elite, LLC in Cincinnati to deepen its southwest Ohio footprint. TLC will continue operating under its name with its leadership joining Schill's Canada operations; the deals are part of Schill's ongoing roll-up strategy (Schill is a platform backed by Argonne Capital Group) and bring the combined team to roughly 775 employees.
