ServiceTrade, a Durham-based field service management SaaS provider, has acquired NorthBoundary, a sales and proposal solution for commercial mechanical contractors. The acquisition integrates NorthBoundary’s Proposal Engine into ServiceTrade’s platform to connect selling and service workflows and expand ServiceTrade’s capabilities for mechanical and HVAC contractors.

Mobeus Invests £8.2m in The Boundary

Mobeus has made an £8.2 million growth investment into The Boundary, a London-based architectural visualisation studio, and committed additional acquisition facilities to support the firm's acquisitive growth pipeline. The deal includes Mobeus introducing Andrew McGuinness as investing Chairman and will fund expansion of sales, creative teams and technology to broaden The Boundary's presence across architecture, luxury automotive and e-commerce sectors.

Semtech Corporation Acquires Sierra Wireless

Semtech Corporation agreed to acquire Sierra Wireless for US$31 per share in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately US$1.2 billion. The deal combines Semtech's LoRa capabilities with Sierra Wireless' cellular modules, gateways and cloud services to create a chip-to-cloud IoT platform, expand Semtech's addressable IoT market and add meaningful recurring cloud revenue and operational synergies.

BJG Electronics Acquires Connector Tech LLC

Ronkonkoma, New York-based BJG Electronics, a Rockwood portfolio company, has acquired Connector Tech LLC, a value-added distributor of high-reliability electronic interconnect products headquartered in Kalispell, Montana. The add-on expands BJG's value-added production capabilities and provides access to commercial and industrial end markets including aerospace, military, oil & gas, and other industrial customers; Connector Tech will continue operating from its Kalispell facility with its existing employees.

L Squared Capital Partners Acquires Functional Devices, Inc.

L Squared Capital Partners has acquired Functional Devices, Inc., a Sharpsville, Indiana–headquartered maker of RIB relays, current sensors, power supplies and other field devices for building automation and emergency lighting. Management (led by President & CEO Mark Fernandes) invested alongside L Squared, which plans to invest in product development, commercial expansion and pursue add-on acquisitions to build out a platform in peripheral components for building automation.

Infinite Electronics Acquires Bulgin Ltd.
