Voices Acquires Voices.ai to Launch Developer Platform for Voice Applications

Voices, the global voice-over marketplace, has acquired Voices.ai and plans to launch a next-generation developer platform for voice applications that will include APIs, libraries, documentation and cloud infrastructure. The acquisition supports Voices’ push into AI-generated voices and developer-focused tools to serve use cases such as voice assistants, eLearning and real-time synthetic voice applications.

Veritone Acquires VocaliD

Veritone, Inc. acquired VocaliD, Inc., a U.S.-based pioneer in personalized synthetic voices, to expand and enhance its Veritone Voice capabilities and integrate VocaliD's proprietary voice modeling and audio mixing technology into its aiWARE platform. The VocaliD team will join Veritone's Commercial Enterprise division, enabling expanded enterprise-grade synthetic voice offerings for brands, broadcasters, podcasters and other customers.

Thoma Bravo Acquires Medallia for $6.4B

Thoma Bravo completed its all-cash acquisition of Medallia, a San Francisco–based leader in customer and employee experience software, in a transaction valued at approximately $6.4 billion. Medallia shareholders received $34.00 per share; Thoma Bravo said it will leverage its software operating expertise and the company’s SaaS and AI capabilities to expand Medallia’s customer reach and accelerate product innovation.

Medallia Acquires Contact Center Coaching Platform Stella Connect

Medallia, Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Stella Connect, a real-time feedback, coaching and quality management SaaS platform for contact centers, for approximately $100 million in cash. The acquisition will integrate Stella Connect with the Medallia Experience Cloud (and Medallia's new speech technology) to expand Medallia's contact-center capabilities and is expected to close in September, subject to customary conditions.

LiveVox Acquires SpeechIQ
