Renesas Electronics Corporation completed its acquisition of Transphorm, Inc. on June 20, 2024, integrating Transphorm's gallium nitride (GaN) power semiconductor technology into Renesas' product portfolio. Renesas will immediately begin offering GaN-based power products and reference designs to expand its power solutions for markets including EVs, data centers, renewable energy and industrial applications.
