The Toro Company Acquires Venture Products (Ventrac)

The Toro Company has agreed to acquire Venture Products, Inc., the manufacturer of Ventrac-branded turf, landscape and snow-management equipment, for $167.5 million in cash. The deal, expected to close before the end of Toro's fiscal 2020 second quarter, expands Toro's professional product offering and is expected to be financed under Toro's existing revolving credit facility; Ventrac reported approximately $100 million in net sales for calendar year 2019.

The Toro Company Acquires The Charles Machine Works

The Toro Company completed its acquisition of privately held The Charles Machine Works, the parent company of Ditch Witch and other underground-construction brands. The deal was valued at approximately $700 million, financed with new debt and borrowings under Toro's credit facility; Toro expects about $30 million of synergies over three years and that the transaction is immediately accretive to EPS (excluding certain adjustments).

ARGO President Brad Darling and Investment Group Acquire Arctic Cat

Brad Darling, CEO and President of ARGO, together with an investment group, has acquired Arctic Cat from Textron Specialized Vehicles. The Thief River Falls-based manufacturer of snowmobiles, ATVs and side-by-sides will operate under Darling's leadership with plans to reinvest in the brand, products, people and dealer network.
