The Toro Company Acquires Venture Products (Ventrac)

The Toro Company has agreed to acquire Venture Products, Inc., the manufacturer of Ventrac-branded turf, landscape and snow-management equipment, for $167.5 million in cash. The deal, expected to close before the end of Toro's fiscal 2020 second quarter, expands Toro's professional product offering and is expected to be financed under Toro's existing revolving credit facility; Ventrac reported approximately $100 million in net sales for calendar year 2019.

Regina-based Brandt Tractor Ltd. completed the acquisition of Calgary-based Cervus Equipment Corporation via a court-approved plan of arrangement on October 22, 2021. The purchaser (13255026 Canada Ltd.), a wholly owned Brandt subsidiary, acquired all outstanding Cervus shares for CAD 19.50 per share (approximately CAD 302 million aggregate), adding Cervus' 64 dealerships and equipment-distribution capabilities across Canada, Australia and New Zealand to Brandt's network.
