Optimove Acquires Kumulos to Add Native Mobile Messaging Capabilities

Optimove has acquired Kumulos, a Dundee, Scotland-based provider of a personalized mobile messaging platform, to add native mobile push, in-app messaging, and mobile engagement capabilities to its AI-driven CRM marketing platform. The acquisition closed in March 2022; Kumulos co-founders Bob Lawson and Mark Petrie joined Optimove's mobile leadership and engineering teams, and Optimove said it will invest in Scottish R&D locations to support development.
