Vancouver-based private equity firm CAI Capital Partners has made a platform investment in DWB Consulting Services Ltd., a British Columbia-based multidisciplinary consulting firm providing environmental, forestry and engineering services. Management and employee shareholders retain a meaningful equity stake and founder Dave Bedford will remain involved in an advisory role; debt financing for the transaction was provided by CIBC.

Bowman Consulting Group Acquires CFA, Inc.

Bowman Consulting Group Ltd. (NASDAQ: BWMN) has acquired CFA, Inc., a Reno, Nevada-based civil engineering, surveying, planning and remote sensing firm. The acquisition — financed with cash, seller notes and equity — brings roughly 30 CFA professionals into Bowman and strengthens Bowman's presence in Nevada, with an initial annualized net service billing run rate of about $5 million.

WSB LLC Acquires CAS Consulting & Services, Inc.

WSB LLC, a GHK Capital-backed national design and consulting firm, has acquired CAS Consulting & Services, a multidisciplinary civil engineering firm headquartered in Austin, Texas. The add-on brings four offices and 38 employees to WSB and strengthens its water/wastewater, water resources and construction management capabilities while expanding WSB's presence in Texas and the southwestern United States.

Trinity Consultants Acquires Bridgewater Group Inc.

Cor Partners, the Atlanta-based parent company of insurance and forensic services businesses (backed by BW Forsyth Partners), has acquired DBI Construction Consultants, a New York–based provider of building and construction consulting and loss/damage measurement services. The acquisition will form a new division within the Cor Partners family and combines DBI with existing Envista Forensics building consulting resources to expand capabilities, coverage and service offerings to insurance and legal clients.

CW Advisors Acquires Aspire Wealth Management and Fernwood Investment Management

CW Advisors (CWA) acquired Aspire Wealth Management (Waltham, MA) and Fernwood Investment Management (Quincy, MA), adding more than $800 million of AUM to the CWA platform. The deals closed in January 2025 and expand CWA's Boston-area footprint; terms were not disclosed and Fernwood was represented by Surfside Capital.
