Irys Acquires Diversified Technical Services Inc. (DTSI)

San Antonio-based tech startup Irys has acquired Diversified Technical Services Inc. (DTSI), a longtime defense contractor now operating as a DTSI business unit of Irys. The all-cash deal preserves DTSI's name, its existing defense-sector contracts and roughly 60 employees, and gives Irys immediate past performance and capabilities to expand into government and DoD contracting.

Docufree Acquires Advanced Imaging Systems (AIS) Document and Records Management Assets

Docufree, an Atlanta-based enterprise information management provider, has acquired the document and records management assets of Advanced Imaging Systems (AIS), a Pineville, North Carolina information-management company founded in 1972. The deal expands Docufree’s service offerings and customer footprint across education, law enforcement, healthcare, finance and manufacturing markets while integrating AIS customers into Docufree’s ScanCloud and nationwide fulfillment capabilities.

Axiologic Solutions Acquires Data Intelligence Technologies

NIRAS Acquires Lorien Engineering Solutions from GP Strategies

NIRAS has acquired Lorien Engineering Solutions, a division of GP Strategies Corporation, to strengthen its engineering consultancy capabilities in the food & beverage, life science and advanced manufacturing sectors. The deal adds Lorien’s offices in Poland, the U.K., and South Africa to NIRAS’s global footprint and is expected to complete on 1 January 2024. The acquisition expands NIRAS’s process-industry expertise and international scale.

Albers Aerospace Acquires Undisclosed ISR Integration Company

Albers Aerospace has completed the acquisition of an undisclosed global leader in Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) integration. DLA Piper advised Albers on the transaction, which Albers said will immediately expand its ISR capabilities and strengthen its mission-focused solutions for defense customers.
