River Associates Investments, a Chattanooga-based lower-middle market private equity firm, acquired Hoskin Scientific Limited, a Burnaby, British Columbia–based value-added distributor of test, measurement and monitoring equipment. The transaction closed on December 30, 2021, and was funded with equity from River VII with debt financing provided by Bank of Montreal and PNC Mezzanine Capital.

The deal, financed with mezzanine debt from PNC Mezzanine Capital, expands Hoskin's national footprint and strengthens its product and service offering across aerospace, automotive, industrial and research end markets.
