Verana Health has acquired oncology-focused COTA (COTA Healthcare) in a transaction supported by a $52 million equity commitment from existing backers. The merger expands Verana's real-world data and analytics capabilities into oncology and gives the combined firm access to more than 95 million patients and over 20,000 contributing clinicians, broadening its offering to biopharma customers across clinical trials and outcomes research.
