Ribbon Communications Acquires Business and Technology Assets of Anova Data

Ribbon Communications agreed to purchase the business and technology assets of Anova Data, a U.S.-based provider of cloud-native streaming analytics for network and subscriber optimization. The acquisition will expand Ribbon's security and analytics portfolio (Ribbon Protect) with Anova's AI/ML-driven analytics to deliver enhanced service assurance, monetization and subscriber insights for service providers and enterprises.

One Ring Networks Acquires Skyriver Communications

One Ring Networks completed the acquisition of Skyriver Communications, adding high-speed fixed wireless and fiber internet assets and expanding One Ring’s footprint into multiple California markets. The deal enables One Ring to offer hosted PBX, managed IT services and additional redundancy solutions to businesses across Los Angeles, Orange County, San Francisco, San Diego and Riverside/San Bernardino.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Acquires Silver Peak for $925M

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire SD-WAN leader Silver Peak for approximately $925 million in cash. Silver Peak will be combined with HPE's Aruba business unit to extend Aruba's Edge Services Platform and accelerate HPE's edge-to-cloud networking strategy; the deal is expected to close in HPE's fiscal Q4 2020 subject to regulatory approvals.

Cisco Acquires Accedian from Bridge Growth Partners

Nokia Networks Acquires Eden Rock Communications

Nokia Networks has signed an agreement to acquire Eden Rock Communications, the maker of the Eden-NET multivendor Self-Organizing Network (SON) solution, with the transaction expected to close in Q3 2015. The acquisition strengthens Nokia Networks' SON and network optimization capabilities and Eden Rock will spin off a separate company for its spectrum sharing technologies.
