American Crafts Acquires BoBunny Press

American Crafts, a Lindon, Utah-based maker and distributor of craft products, has purchased BoBunny Press, the papercrafting brand founded by Jan Lanoy in Layton, Utah. The acquisition brings BoBunny's design team into American Crafts and ensures continued production and distribution of the BoBunny product line as the founder retires.

LLYC (Llorente & Cuenca) has acquired an initial 80% stake in BAM, a San Diego–based public relations and marketing agency focused on venture-backed and technology companies, in a deal valuing BAM at $13.2 million. The acquisition (cash consideration, with potential adjustment based on 2022–2025 performance) doubles LLYC’s U.S. operation, creates a team of more than 65 professionals, and leaves BAM CEO Rebecca Bamberger with a continuing ownership stake while she remains in charge of operations.

American Outdoor Brands Acquires Bubba Blade Assets from Fish Tales

American Outdoor Brands Corporation (through its accessories business, Battenfeld Technologies, Inc.) agreed to acquire substantially all of the assets of Fish Tales, LLC, including the Bubba Blade premium knife brand. The deal will be funded with cash on hand, is expected to close in summer 2017, and AOBC will transition the Bubba Blade business to its Columbia, Missouri facility to integrate into its accessories segment.
