Alation Acquires Lyngo Analytics

Alation Inc., the Redwood City–based data intelligence company, has acquired Los Altos–based Lyngo Analytics to integrate Lyngo’s natural-language AI capabilities into Alation’s data catalog. Lyngo’s co-founders Jennifer Wu and Joachim Rahmfeld will join Alation in senior product and AI/ML roles to help broaden the platform’s support for non-technical business users and convert natural-language questions into SQL.

Inflection AI Acquires BoostKPI and Jelled.ai

The company did not disclose transaction terms; both teams will join Inflection to integrate data-analytics and inbox-assistant capabilities into its enterprise AI offerings.

Bow River Capital Makes Majority Investment in Accelo

IBM Acquires Seek AI

IBM has acquired Seek AI, a New York–based startup that provides a natural-language AI platform for querying and analyzing enterprise data, for an undisclosed sum. Seek AI will join IBM’s new Watsonx AI Labs in New York City and relocate its headquarters to One Madison, with the technology integrated into IBM’s enterprise AI offerings to accelerate its AI capabilities.
